Oh yeah open tables work really well. Mine has been thriving for a year and half going through Undermountain. But after a while as a GM you want to run a longer campaign focused on the characters

Yes but how do you know if the group works or not unless you try it. I am saying most people go "I would love to play" and then a GM says "okay how about we play a campaign on Thursday nights". The players go "oh I don't know if I can do that."

What about Alarums & Excursions? Does that not qualify as an RPG magazine?

All the way from Christopher Zarathustra to Chris Perkins, all the way from a fan mail about Ex Libris through Umbra and Nemesis to Acq Inc., Curse of Strahd, Dice Camera Action and beyond.

Congratulations!!!

Thank you for saying this. I have always said that anyone who votes for him a second time is absolutely, unequivocally EVIL and there's no two ways about it.

I like the way you wrote it. It was easy to read and even though you followed the Adventure Background -> Adventure Synopsis method of the Dungeon Magazine, you made the Adventure Background actually relevant unlike most of the articles of the time.

Also, happy birthday! You share a birthday with my wife. I showed this to her and she said, "Good people are born on Feb 28th and they are all named Hannah." ☺️☺️☺️ Her name is also Hannah.

Love this initiative. Definitely doing this with my gaming group.

I don't think so. Start for the book should be Look to Windward. PoG doesn't capture the weirdness of Culture and it can be mistaken for a space adventure series.

☺️☺️☺️ I love learning about other people's settings. They are usually so creative and there's always something to steal for my setting

What is this about? New tariffs? Sorry I don't live in America and probably ignorant of the deeper issues.

What really happened with CR calculations in 2014? How could they be so far off from reality?

Is this meaningfully different from people arguing about why someone's criticism of a movie or book they like is wrong?
