Back-up story: We built this beautiful home with lots of room to entertain. When we hosted parties, as we finished prepping the food to move to the adjoining dining room, also off the great room, guests—women AND men—milled around the kitchen, often the rest of the party. It was organic.

Do you do asparagus tips? I like baby asparagus sprinkled with olive oil and a light sprinkling of sea salt (or light-sodium salt). Baby asparagus is very thin so it comes out crisp.

Mental health services that would have diagnosed autism was shamefully hard to get so kids weren’t found to have autism. Adults today who likely had autism back then or earlier are just being diagnosed, having missed the help they might otherwise have received. RFK would be no help to anyone.

There is the long wait in the bush. Suddenly an idea springs from nowhere. We jump from blind. We pounce with a well written jibe, producing a whily paragraph. Game on! We chase with a second. Wound with a third. We catch up to it lying off the path. No! It’s underdeveloped. Back to the bush. Sport.
