A life of labor leaves marks inside the body, too. Maybe they've used a CAT scan to look at how his tendons are attached to the bones? Robust attachments can also be an indicator of a lifetime of heavy labor.

I was working an event where Denyse Graves performed. My post was by the elevator she used to exit. While she was waiting for it, I told her I loved her portrait at the National Portrait Gallery. She thanked me and replied that it had been hard work posing for it. So gracious.
