~60 German Universities left twitter en masse a few weeks ago. I would love to see UK universities take that sort of stance.

I gave a talk for the music department once and it was one of the best OA talks I ever had. I met some really interesting people who just looked at me and said 'I want my research available to read by anyone' it was so refreshing.

I absolutely loathe hotdesking. Fortunately, as of next week this will no longer be an issue and I am beyond happy about that. But, I am also someone who is struggling to work from home so the end of hotdesking means more of a routine for me (I sound very dull).

I had to give a crash course on data visualizations and one of the main things I remember is a pie chart should never be used for more than 3 things. It's amazing how often it is used.
