I’m old enough to remember when rapture-level fervor was on full display when they thought Obama would try to stay in office past 2016. Wonder what’s the difference…🤔

Absolutely.

Nervous Musk, Trump, Vance have all been outclassed in public arguments these last few days. Government failure, stock market crash, and dictatorial alliances are not popular. People are starting to realize that there is no truth here beyond the desire for personal wealth and power. (2/2)

And sets up the narrative for them to bitch and moan when the next administration (assuming we have one) moves to replace even ONE person. They’ll always be able to cry victim while claiming to be so damn macho. The weakest “men” I’ve ever seen with power.

We have short attention spans. He could’ve saved his entire legacy with one vote. His addiction to being a partisan wouldn’t let him do the ONE thing that would’ve prevented this mess we’re in and made a whole lot of people forget what he did with federal judges for decades. It’s a real shame.

Anyone saying Paul friggin Clement is a liberal snowflake or some deep state plant is just plain stupid.

Yea, Diddy asked him to do something that would get the lawyer disbarred and charged with a crime. No lawyer with a client that wealthy is walking away unless the request is WILDLY illegal.

Yea, it turns out that taking the side of someone who has tens of thousands of bodies on his ledger wasn’t the smartest move.

Idiocracy. This is straight from Idiocracy.

The tragedy is that he could have whipped the votes to convict, and our short attention spans would have largely forgotten that he made the federal courts in his image. The conviction vote would have cemented his legacy. A partisan to a huge fault, and we have to deal with the fallout.

A scam artist and someone paid by a propagandist running the FBI. What could go wrong?

We’ve reached a new milestone and not the good kind. The darkest and exact opposite in fact.

What’s sad is that he thinks this is him regaining control and assuring everyone that he’s in charge. Maybe this time the con doesn’t realize he’s the mark. 🤷🏾‍♂️

As someone still working through insecurities with my faith and therapy, I know someone talking their way through a “moment” when I see one 🤣

Because who in their right mind wants their legal career to forever have that public stain on it?
comment in response to post
The legal community is very small. Whoever takes the bait has to know it will forever be the end of whatever reputation they had.

Oh now things are about to go to the next level 👀👀👀👀

This is important because, among other reasons, Judge Chutkan’s court will be where the record is created, which is so key for cases that get appealed.
