I don’t think they’d have to do it - just threatening the Mango Mussolini with it would almost certainly change what passes for his mind…🙂

What if Apple were to announce that if this goes ahead, they’ll stop selling and supporting iPhones in the USA?

Is it Sam Freed from Law& Order and The Wire? He might be a bit too old though (he was born in 1948). His IMDB pic looks similar, but older.

Being a TV presenter is not a qualification for leadership.

He can’t really be that stupid, can he?

I don’t think lying racists with multiple marriages, convictions and divorces are usually considered for the role…

Just FYI, Zuckerberg is flooding FB and Threads with self-congratulatory guff about Llama 4 being released yesterday. I’ve …commented. 🙂

Isn’t that a bit like delivery companies complaining that needing drivers to have driving licences makes recruitment harder?

Great book. Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg don’t come out of it too well - especially Sheryl…

Both on BBC1 today (in the UK). Wallace & Gromit is on Netflix worldwide from Jan 3rd. The Dr Who special will probably be on Disney+ worldwide soon. If you’ve got a VPN, they’ll both be on iPlayer tomorrow. 🙂

Apart from that, it’s a very JW story - family problems, friendship issues, and it all turns out OK in the end. Scotland looks beautiful, The young actor playing Phoebe, the Sally Tomsett role, is great, and it just works. Recommended! It’ll be on iPlayer (not sure about non-UK sources though) 🙂

If he’d been born into any other family, Epstein and the Chinese security agency wouldn’t have gone near him. He’d be a fading junior manager in something boring, with a divorce and a ten year old Mondeo…

This should include children’s books ‘written’ by ‘celebrities’. Then we’d finally discover who’s responsible for Walliams’ output…

This one as well (and Bones - and ER…) 🙂

Ours looks like - go to the Doctors, get referred to oncology, get treated, follow up treatment. All without any payment (apart, obviously, from tax paying for the NHS). It may not be perfect, but it’s pretty good…🙂
