we literally cannot afford them taking these weird racist side quests

i am simply of the belief that letting Republicans repeat over and over again that science is not on the side of trans people without answering them in kind is bad. it's a lie and should be called a lie. you can't compromise with this.

Actually, no. I needed the push a trans girl on Facebook gave me. I may very well have died otherwise. If cissies are annoyed by well informed, well meaning people gently informing them that a better life may be possible, that’s their affair

"Mamdani’s victory shows that his support for Palestine is not a liability, nor irrelevant to his mayoral campaign. In fact, Palestine has moved to the heart of domestic politics thx to an organized, grassroots movement of Palestinians &allies, students & activists, that paved the way for this win."

The bigoted stereotype that Jewish people are rich + powerful is partly rooted in: a) in Europe, Christians were forbidden to be moneylenders + Jewish people were consistently marginalized + abused so often moneylending was the only viable trade b) rich Jewish people could afford to flee elsewhere

I still have a FB account (Indian family scattered all over) and I hate it because it’s ’come back and engage’ algorithm tried to tease me back with a notification that my mother, who died two months ago, just commented on a video. Fuck you, Zuck. Fuck you so much.

the basic throughline from the Court’s first amendment cases today is that the presence of children essentially removes constitutional protection from what would otherwise be clearly protected free speech.

This just in: femme lesbian and nervous cat successfully defeat bug in the apartment without involving butch lesbian or cat who is actually good at hunting.

i have nothing to say that hasn’t already been said about egg prime directive shit and why it’s stupid and bad… but i will say it’s very frustrating to me that once again being non-binary is equated with not desiring transition. it’s such an ubiquitous thought that drives me up a wall.

Ha! Unbound/Boundless is starting to just set all their emails to “these inboxes are no longer monitored” replies to all my inquiries 🤡

oh my god it's so bad like who is this for???

So one of my common jobs is taking trains to get their wheels turned at a lathe to make them nice and round again: if they are *really* bad (usually caused by some other component failing) we have to use little wheels for the wheels called pony bogies and drive really slow (pics from 2 years ago)

Well, so much for the open internet

The idiots handwringing about a GOVERNMENT-owned grocery store are hilarious - there's a whole big project at Kansas State University, hotbed of communism, LITERALLY devoted to helping small towns open and run municipally-owned grocery stores to help with (rural) food deserts. www.ruralgrocery.org

have you seen the new liberal resistance? it's in the casa dissent bro. just read it on page 91 of 303c. my guy it's at the bottom of skrmetti. peep the footnote in loper. you can get it from the dobbs dissent bro. no kings man. straight fire 🔥🔥🔥

Zeus @futchlightning.gunmetolymp.us has monosexual privilege (kingship)

the hatred of trans people is great (for the right wing fascist project, that is) because to destroy trans rights, you kinda have to...obliterate the concept of bodily autonomy and when a fascist hears that they go, "Oh sweet, we want to do that already"

Only a little over 2 days left to get the Queer Lights in the Darkness Bundle on Itchio! We've well and truly surpassed our wildest dreams and are beyond grateful for everyone who is supporting queer art in These Trying Times.

For those who want to understand why book bans, anti-immigration rhetoric, and the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 are connected, I wrote extensively on the topic earlier this year. Learning the history won't save us from the evils of the present, but knowledge is power. ⬇️⬇️

Sen. Glob Dipwad of Racismville, AL gets to say people who live in cities are vermin but if you make a joke about how much these people suck and make everything around them suck someone inevitably posts that stupid cornbread & artisanal pizza meme in your replies. life's not fair like that sometimes

@ket.bsky.social @taliabhatt.itch.io @thetransfemininereview.com @riotlinguist.bsky.social @michaelann.bsky.social this might interest y'all tbh

i realize bsky denizens might be wondering about my work, and why it is so important... this thread will go over some of the key findings in my thesis, ordered by what i feel is their current relevance. buckle up!

I get why buses exist and they're important and also whose idea was it to design a form of public transit that gets stuck in traffic? Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

yeah so SCOTUS just ruled that nobody in the US has any rights to/for anything UNLESS you sue individually and SCOTUS decides to take up your case followed by SCOTUS deciding that you, specifically, individually have *some* rights. help me get the fuck out, please? www.gofundme.com/f/support-fo...

so if you have the urge to Do Something™️about SCOTUS stripping judicial power (other than their own) and ending ALL rights for EVERYONE in the US* you can buy this bundle and help queer people survive! itch.io/b/3065 *must sue individually for SCOTUS to determine if you, specifically, have rights
