Starting a new project and wondering if any #RevPit folks have recommendations for YA fantasy with any or many of the following elements: - little to no romance - magical creatures (variety preferred!) - coming of age - avuncular mentors - diverse culture/cast Want to bulk up my TBR!

Surrounded by vintage Polaroid cameras and Sony walkmans all day. My job would be a good backdrop for a story. Murder? Magic based in intricate engineering or film chemistry? Endless possibilities.

How did I lose a whole chapter?! Don't worry I found it today, but I was wondering why the heck my MS was almost 3,000 words short of what it was a week ago. Oh my brain. #amwriting #amediting #ampanicking

I’m on a little writer’s retreat in a hotel and everything and it’s such a gift to have dedicated time to focus. My brain is skittering between projects but I can actually sit down and get stuff done. It’s a shame I won’t be able to do this again this year but I’m trying to appreciate the time.

I’m never actually ready for #RevPit and due to life reasons couldn’t touch any of my WIPs for a year. But I’m doing it this year as a great way to have a goal, get practice with writing a query and synopsis, and gain invaluable insight from the editors.
