I read that in Stephen Colbert’s Trump impersonation. It kind of puts a bow on the whole thing.

I wonder if part of the reason they don't have it there is they don't want to mix folks up with the Disneyland of yesterday - so to speak. They want people to come to Disneyland today, with today's attractions, merchandise, hotels, etc.

I rode the Rocket Rods! I was on a school trip down to a choir competition and we went to the park. I was 17, and kind of naive so I thought the foyer with the plans to run them out Dodger Stadium and wherever else was on that map.

Yeah - We dropped Netflix last year. We just weren't watching anything on it. I think it was the third time they raised their prices that pushed us over the edge. And I have zero interest in ad tiers.

This is very cool! I know very little about it, and I want one very much! Are they for sale?

This bit always feels to me like it was supposed to be a "post-asteroid" end-of-the-dinosaur-era scene. Like it'd be the last scene before you just see a barren wasteland with a skeleton in it...

Ahh. This is an interesting surprise for me. My annual trip occurs in early November (coinciding with a conference) and I feared I would never see the Haunted Mansion in its original form ever again.

You’ve piqued my interests! How themed? Society of explorers type themed, or more abstractly?

When you purchase a pinball table for your own home, do you clear the high scores? Or do you just play to beat the existing scores?

My wife once asked me why I liked Christmas lights so much and I told her I thought it was because it reminded me of Disneyland

I love the irony of someone asking an actor (or any other professional) to "stick to ____". Expressing an opinion about political speech while demanding another to abandon their own. It comes down simply to "You have reach that I don't have, and you're using it to say something I don't like"

I cannot recommend the Sony XM4s enough. I bought mine... 3 years ago(?) and they are excellent. My home office was in the same room as our washer and dryer - I had no problem with the noise in that space thanks to these.

I’ve been to Disneyland many times and never known about this. I enjoy these little facts about my favorite park.

Interesting. I always assumed the port was akin to a glorified translation - that the majority of the code was graphics. Followup question: Is it also a totally different game between the SNES Super Mario All-Stars SMB2 and the GBA version - given the technical similarities between those two?

I'm curious if the NES version play is substantially different from the GBA version - or does it feel different because of sprites/colors differences? I assume that the code driving the game is the same between the two...
