These art prints will finally be live at 8pm GMT tonight! Both depict parts of my aerial amazon landscape I completed last year - meandering rivers and thousands of tiny green knots πŸ’š both designs will be available here: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/collection/a... #embroidery #fiberarts

'Castle ruins in the wild' - this aerial embroidery took me over 50 hours! All those tiny French knots... building up the wild ground around the ruins :) I know they aren't everyone's favourite but I could do those knots forever! Available here: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/collection/a... #landscape

A landscape commission I completed March 2024... this remains one of my proudest aerial embroideries to date! It was challenging and took its time and that pop of spring yellow in the south-west corner was a perfect choice from the commissioner πŸ’› I hope you also all love it! #fiberarts #embroidery

I've added some sets of experimental prints to my site - each set has nine colourful designs, all 5x5 inches. Do any jump out to you in particular? 😊 As they're experimental they're cheaper than my usual print sets and have limited numbers: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/work/set-of-...

'Rolling hills by the Irish coast' - I don't think I've shared this landscape yet! It was a commission completed in Autumn 2024, they wanted an aerial inspired by a specific region of the Irish coast :) I loved the curious field shapes! #embroidery #fibrearts

Further experimenting with aerial embroidery combined with circuit boards... I wanted the man-made/city elements of this landscape to be overtaking the canvas, the natural elements will be orderly inside the borders. Something about humans overtaking nature maybe? We'll see how it turns out :)

Does anyone know a good way to mass delete my twitter posts?? I haven't shut it yet because I wanted to clean it first of all my art and everything but that's literally thousands of posts I think :/ anyone who's done it, what did you use? Thank you! 🌱

My new aerial embroidery experiment! I had some little circuit boards I thought resembled buildings and paths and added my stitches and trees in the gaps... and I had to add a car park! I imagine it to be a business park or factory grounds. What do you think? I don't usually do mixed media 😊

I know I've gone quiet... seasonal affective disorder hit me hard around a week ago so I haven't sewn as much. However I did work on a more experimental piece which I'll be posting later! In the meantime... some of my tulip and daffodil bulbs are starting to peek through the ground in the garden 🌷

'The labyrinth' - the perfect embroidery to round off 2024 and go into 2025... journeys and transformation. We can all get a bit lost but be kind to yourselves. Happy new years eve! This aerial maze is now available here: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/work/the-lab... #art

'The moors' - a moorland landscape I did all the way back in 2021 but remains a favourite of mine :) this aerial embroidery took so long to do with all the tiny knots for the heather bushes!! Heather is a favourite feature I like to add but they're the most time consuming thing I sew #fibrearts

I just finished paying for a new front door and window and now it turns out the other front window's double glazing has gone too 🫠 so below are the final four pieces available for 2024 plus laptop/phone backgrounds - any shares very appreciated!! victoriaroserichards.co.uk/collection/a... #fibrearts

'Labyrinth' - my current embroidery in progress between commissions... I've been feeling like I'm going through a lot of growth and searching the past few years but in recent months especially. My wants and perspectives, my body and place in the world... I'm in the labyrinth somewhere.

'A winter moorland drive' - its that time of year again and I recently went on a drive across Dartmoor. I love the winter moorland textures and feel, but of course I had to add some little ponds to this aerial embroidery inspired by it :) available here: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/collection/a...

Been experimenting... I was given some vintage marbled paper swatches and thought some designs resembled aerial landscapes. I used French knots to add tiny trees and highlighted the blue veins in modelling water :) this was a fun little embroidery scene to play with!

The snow by the river early on a winter morning ❄️ a snowy aerial embroidery from last winter :) I very rarely do snow ones, I find the lack of colour mostly boring, but those one I enjoyed! Where do you think the tire tracks off the bottom are going?? #fibrearts #landscape

'Rich autumn gardens' - my latest aerial embroidery, another formal garden! Inspired by a real life garden πŸ’šsharing this landscape made me realise I haven't shared my summer garden here yet :) for now, this one is available here: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/work/rich-au... #fibrearts

I'm making some limited prints using my Amazon river embroidery - which of the perspectives below suit it better?? The second landscape is more of an angled photo, the first top-down aerial. Do you prefer the left or right one? #fibrearts

A recent aerial embroidery commission, a recreation of somewhere in Maryland. I love the difference between the empty golden fields and the busy creek! And the little walkways out to it were too perfect to not include πŸ’™ I hope you all love this landscape too! #fibrearts

Miao embroidery created traditionally by women of the Miao people who inhabit South-west China's Guizhou Province

Hi everyone! I'm looking for other embroidery, textile and/or landscape art accounts to check out and follow on here since leaving Twitter :) do tag any you think of so I and others can check their art out! Below is an example of mine too - aerial embroidery πŸ’š

'When the leaves begin to fall' - my latest embroidery, an autumnal garden! Crossing paths and falling leaves around a maze πŸ’š I shared it on Instagram earlier and my reach is absurdly low... hopefully better here. This landscape is available on my site: victoriaroserichards.co.uk/collection/a...
