Also, if you're not putting an asterisk on Trump's first tenure for the spending that was needed to keep the country standing through the pandemic, you're being dishonest.

Do you only care about deficeit spending when there's an R in front of it? Can you at least admit Obama and Biden also had runaway spending habits?
Do you think the market dropping is directly related to Trump? Or the start of a correction to a bubble that most economists have been predicting?

What are you all going to do after Trump's term ends and none of your doom & gloom came to fruition?

Do you have evidence of this being anything other than a political realignment?
Presidents have replaced generals before. Did you whine about those?

How about we allow the appointees to do their jobs before criticizing their entire existence?

It's just funny watching them trip over themselves criticizing Republicans for things their cherished overlords did so much worse. I'm not even a Trump guy.

The people who voted for him are tired of mainstream thinkers.
That's the whole god damn point.

No, he wants people who aren't war hawks.

The oft-used "Donald Trump could eradicate all terminal disease and still be hated" mentality is definitely at play here.

That is nothing but speculation.

Mail volume has declined by over 45% since 2001 while expenditures have increased. USPS experienced a net loss of over $87 billion during that time and labor costs make up 80% of the total expenses.
No private business would operate that inefficiently and still survive. Why should the government?

What am I wrong about? Did we not give Ukraine half a trillion dollars?

I dislike both parties equally.

Just not sure why you can't engage in good faith discussions as if your reaction isn't a large part of the reason we are where we are as a country.

I'm not a Trump supporter.

You think, in order to win a lucrative government contract, a private company wouldn't figure out a plan to service currently unserviced areas?

If you're going to try and drive home your point with insults, maybe run a spell check? Or, at the very least, give me a reason you think I'm a troll.

The government has definitely never deliberately misled the public for their own gain either, you're right.

If that specific company needs to adhere to certain government standards and submit themselves to regular audits, why not?

Modern Dems want nothing to do with reducing the size of government. Only inflating it. It's the sad truth, and anyone who lives outside of that bubble is now ostracized entirely.

The private sector is more efficient than the government by nearly every metric and always has been.

I don't expect everyone to agree on everything, and I'm only intentionally disrespectful if it happens to me first. Given we've gotten this far without you blocking me immediately, you're one of the good ones. Genuinely appreciate the dialogue.

Why do you support the form of voting that is most susceptible to fraud?

If I needed to give even a single example, I'd point to his EO on student loan forgiveness, which were unconstitutional.

How is this predatory? We've given them unlimited sums of money and are now asking for something in return.

Excruciatingly accurate.

You either believe the powers of the executive branch should be restricted or you don't. There is no false equivalency. You can't support it when your team does it and trash it when the other follows.

Because its hockey players and citizens had nothing to do with that decision.

It has nothing to do with mail-in ballots. Republicans and Libertarians have wanted to privatize the postal service for an eternity. It's an inefficient mess.
