We will flood the streets www.youtube.com/live/5FpYfPg...

We had a blizzard along the North Shore this week, and Musk’s answer is to shut off heating assistance? No. I want answers. I fought for this funding for a reason and I’m not just going to sit and watch it get ripped away from Minnesotans.

I needed to take a minute and point out the rampant hypocrisy I’m seeing right now.

Stock market’s crashing, retirement savings are disappearing… and he’s out golfing.

Trump circumvented Congress on tariffs by declaring a Fentanyl emergency. A handful of Republicans in Congress can stop the tariffs by joining with Democrats. Call your electeds and tell them.

House GOP Conf Chair Lisa McClain (Mich) on "Liberation Day": "For too long, America has been taken advantage of. President Trump made it clear today that we will no longer put American workers at an unfair disadvantage." Please explain concretely how America has been taken advantage of. I'll wait.

You could have had a competent, joyful, and caring president.

Speaker Mike Johnson's website proclaims that "free trade and free trade agreements" are a core conservative principle. His office number is 202-225-4000. Call. Ask him why he's not doing anything to ensure that the Trump administration follows this principle.

Hypocrisy from the #GOP leadership is not shocking. But the nakedness of that #hypocrisy is mind-blowing. Mike Johnson's official website lists 7 #conservative principles. Not a single one of them fits with the Trump regime. Number 6, Free Markets, has taken a beating over the past couple of days.

How much untold pain and disgrace could have been avoided had a handful of GOP Senators had the guts to convict after the second impeachment? They utterly failed the test of history.

If you sell products affected by these idiotic #tariffs, don't just raise prices. Instead, add a tariff surcharge. Make it absolutely plain why prices are soaring.

Law firms did not strike a "truce" with Trump. They capitulated to an authoritarian. Some, like Skadden, sought out these deals before they even faced any sanction from the Trump regime. The law students standing up are brave. The law firms they are protesting are cowards.

More of this!

Tariffs are an Article I power. Call your Representative. Call or send email to the GOP leadership. Demand that take back their constitutional authority and stop this madness. You can call Tom Emmer, Majority Whip, at his leadership office: (202) 225-2210

This is a moral moment. It is not left or right, it is right or wrong.

Let’s get this done thehill.com/homenews/sen...

President Trump’s tariff taxes are a disaster. This will hurt our farmers and producers, manufacturing industries, and cause prices for working families to go up on everything from groceries to gas to cars. And Republicans in Congress are doing nothing to stop him. www.nbcnews.com/business/mar...

Now that Wall Street correctly believes, in light of his tariffs, that Trump is insane, is it really going to look with favor upon the law firms that shamelessly caved to him? Asking for a profession.

Note to Columbia University: This is how you do it. www.tufts.edu/president/sp...

Call your Member of Congress. Tell them to back the Cantwell / Grassley bill on tariffs, which would require Congressional approval for the imposition of new tariffs. If you don't have your representative's phone number, call the House switchboard: (202) 224-3121.

Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ? Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?

We don’t have to let Trump wreck our economy with tariffs—that’s a choice. The Constitution gives trade authority to Congress, not the President. Congress delegated tariff powers to the President and we can take them back. We have the bills (one is mine). We just need enough support to pass them.

Glad to see Senator McConnell—along with Senators Collins, Murkowski, and Paul—vote to lift tariffs on Canada. But this abomination of a president is McConnell's fault. He could have—and should have—stopped this felonious, innumerate monster, but placed partisan interest above the common good.

I have no need for Kamala Harris to do a lot of media. But she REALLY needs to show up tomorrow with some loud "I told you so" messages.

Note to journalists: You don't have to mindlessly repeat Trump's branding of the tariffs coming today as "Reciprocal" if as leaks suggest he just picks a big round number and applies it widely. Yes, even if he claims he has 15-20% grievance against every country he targets. Words mean things.

Twain wrote, "Figures often beguile me, particularly when I have the arranging of them myself; in which case the remark attributed to Disraeli would often apply with justice and force: 'There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.'" He didn't anticipate a 4th: Trump on taxes.

"We can't do what we've been doing for 50 years." Yes, a half-century of prosperity, victory in the Cold War, and massive military supremacy needs to be unspooled pronto

Reminder to the House and Senate GOP: you can get rid of this guy anytime you want, save the economy, and be heroes

Thank you, Reprentative Kopp. www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...

Cory Booker is astonishing. May others emulate his courage and his principle.

NEW: Another Skadden attorney has resigned in protest, citing the law firm’s decision to strike a deal with Trump. “Skadden is on the wrong side of history. I could no longer stay knowing that someday I would have to explain why I stayed,” the lawyer, Thomas Sipp, wrote in his resignation letter.
