I am cautiously optimistic now that I'm only 240 points (about 3 or 4 1st/2nd place hanchans) away from Master 1 in Mahjong Soul. Now that I've put this out there I'll probably rank back down to Expert 2, but the ELO has been kind to me lately and I just wanted to share.

I can't believe I got sick over 2 weeks ago and I still occasionally have coughing fits from nasal drainage going into my lungs. I mean, every day I'm a little better but two weeks of slow improvement is a LONG recovery for me. It wasn't covid or the flu either. Just some random cold virus.

Mahjong is good, actually. I'm down from nearly 40% third place and the last 10 games have been kind of crazy lucky for me. Ranked back up to Expert 3. Here's hoping I don't go back down to Expert 2 before I finally reach Master 1. :D

Pulled the 3DS back out of the closet. I love my Playdate but the catalog on this little guy is still unparalleled. NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, and 3DS games all run perfectly on this little guy - plus there’s a sweet homebrew scene!

I wish more dark interfaces were actually black. I want elements on the screen to light it up and everything else should be literally invisible. Most phone screens are OLED now and that would make a UI so much more functional IMO.
