I was depressed last week, now I’m just angry & hopeless. In 3 weeks they owned the Dems & doomed everyone. Congrats MAGA, we all gonna suffer.

Oh wow never checked that app. My parents came here from their corrupt country because they believed the American people stood for their rights, I hope it still stands. Some people don’t have a choice to go back, America is freedom for most of the world.

These people are only living on X too. Every other platform is discussing how bad these actions are, gives me hope in getting this country back.

I agree, but if you’re gonna call yourself the goat on an album you can’t just cash it in. This was no where near the level of Section 80, GKMC or TPAB imo. He doesn’t have to make a classic every album but expectation were set after the beef

Thanks for reading. Not a lot of hip-hop on this app, so I took an opportunity to rave about one of my favorite artists.

Herbert is one of his deepest albums, 6 years after DWTW. Momentum had stagnated again for him. Where others would fade in the back, he kept rapping like a top-tier lyricist. Dropping Soul Burger just 2 years later, comprising some of his most hard-hitting songs, Ab-Soul is back and here to stay.

He returned with DWTW, an inverse of what he did on These Days. If These Days was musically his take on current music, DWTW was Ab-Soul through & through. He experimented with his strengths; the unorthodox pacing of God’s A Girl is a great example. Not new in hip-hop, but his take on the concept.
