I've watched Administrations go from DEM to GOP & back & forth. Even during worst of times in our country we didn't see career employees resign en masse. Especially not from being told to do so. This is what authoritarian regimes do. Brain power & experience loss will be devastating for decades.

The Constitution forbids bribery 3 separate times (emoluments clauses, impeachment). The Founders were so opposed to bribery they made it the only named impeachable offense besides treason. When the US was a Constitutional republic, this blatant corruption would be grounds for immediate removal.

Just realizing: of course there will be a 90 day extension issued next week on the TikTok ban. And not because of our ability to use the platform. But because 90 days…gets us to Tax Day. Just so we’re clear, Trump started the legislation to ban TikTok when he was in office, but it didn’t get through the senate or house until Biden’s presidency—Biden signed it into law—then SCOTUS upheld that law. Trump gets to slide into office to “save” what he, in the first place, sought to ban.
