Yeah, same here. It's the worst!

I didn't need a cavity filled until I was maybe....28? But that led to the horrific realization that I'm resistant to Novacaine and it's made every procedure 10x more terrifying

me watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice while the dentist prepares her drills: I don't think Winona Ryder understood the assignment in this one and also am I going to die (I didn't die)

Ymmv obviously! The big action sequences deliver at least--there just aren't enough of them

Dead Reckoning had the airport scene, car chase, Rebecca Ferguson fight, pom klementieff fight, motorcycle jump and train crash--this one only had like three action sequences by my count

I think at least 7 had more crazy action to hide the weak plotting

Probably not, I'm not in the spider-office so it's not my purview!

I couldn’t be more excited to returning to Marvel and making my debut as a writer, writing AND drawing a Doctor Strange story for #450!

Not a nice editor though! God forbid!

I don't think someone saying "I really loved this one aspect but this other aspect needs work" is weird in any industry but okay

Whatever your intention, your tone isn't coming across as appreciative of a different style of work, it's coming across as dismissive. People have taken the time to explain the value of this editorial style to you and you're just repeatedly going "wow that's nuts, couldn't be me!"

To be honest you've written a lot of words (many of which were judgmental and kind of condescending) about something you've admitted yourself you know nothing about. As someone who's edited comics for 10 years, there's nothing "weird" about the editorial approach Andrea and Danny are describing.

YES EXACTLY! It's a very fun quality for such a smart character, and the fact that he actually stumbles into having *genuinely deep* bonds with multiple teammates despite still insisting he's a lone wolf is also great. I always really loved that Gali recognized how fiercely passionate he is.

(I'm sorry but he lives rent-free in my storytelling brain, I will just never be over a character who's extremely smart and analytical but also tried to sail an *ice floe* across a *lava lake* just to avoid the discomfort of asking any of his teammates for help. #1 dumbest smart person of all time)

16b. Is there such a thing as "going too far" when the freedom of a galaxy is at risk? When the loss of freedom is so demonstrably cataclysmic on every level? What does liberation cost? Is fascism inevitable, or is freedom? These are questions I honestly didn't expect a Star Wars show to ask.
