I was an immigration lawyer for about fifteen years. The people I met… the way they wanted to give their absolute best to this country, and then DID. Skills, ideas, beauty, culture… that’s what they bring. America is a nation of immigrants, and immigration is what made America.

I decided yesterday I'm ready to be done with new Doctor Who for a while, rather than catching up on the current season. I don't want to become bitter toward a show and creative team that had a huge impact on me. I'd rather just rewatch the seasons I like.

(Am a library employee) My library system really tamped down on how much pride stuff we could have up. We are limited to One display with minimal decoration so emails like this would actually really help! Need more positive reinforcement from patrons since the complaints usually get more traction.

The Target boycott is great because taking Target down a peg isn't even hard. It was never a place for essentials--it was where people went to stroll around and buy things they didn't need. I used to wander around Target every other week, and it's the easiest thing in the world to just...not.
