Wannabe writer if I can live long enough to retire. Would watch LFC if I could get a ticket. I can't solve the Middle East crisis or mediate in Gender wars. Left of centre, football, history, beer, rum, foreign dramas and B&W movies r my things.

But Arsenal have gone 15 games unbeaten, they may never lose again and they're brilliant when they come back from their warm weather training and Nunez missed a chance....oh hang on ....

I had a bit of a chuckle about it in 2015

It was a pen every day of the week...VAR operators are bent, they've just moved the crap decisions to the faceless VAR refs which takes pressure off the on field officials I suppose. Also funny how a 2-2 draw at Goodison is a superb Lazarus like performance when it's Utd, but shite when it's us

Genies and bottles come to mind.... Teresa, Boris, Liz, Suella and Nigel, they're only having a larff, they love asylum seekers really. Windrush, just a misunderstanding. Detestable.

The edgy contrarians were only supposed to provide a frisson of transgression. But they've ended up taking over the party. The Tory "soft right" indulged the cranks even more lavishly than Labour's soft left indulged their own lunatics.

Hang on, are you telling me that complicated things actually take time to achieve and it wasn't possible to rejoin on 5th July, whilst re nationalising every industry and rebuilding the NHS? I wanted it done by 10th July. Are you suggesting Starmer isn't a traitor? I may need a lie down.

I doubt Corbyn ever changed his mind, or gave a reasonable listen to any counter argument on any subject.(Since the age of about 15 )He's righteous, any one who disagrees with him isn't. Badenoch and Trump are the same, but Trump probably for different reasons.

We went out on Wednesday lunch/afternoon and although it was half term, all the groups were being paid for by 60+ ers... I did wonder how many of the payers had complained to the mail and telegraph about being deprived of their WFA payment. Perhaps they were in the restaurant to keep warm.

The Local elections this year are going to be wild...if we survive that long....

But won't he just be a Farage clone, so will get no traction at all? They might pick Cleverly!

Why didn't Tory MPs see these character flaws in Badenoch and Truss before they made them leader? They are just a deep, deep well of hatred, as if they've been really badly wronged by 'wokeness' at some point. Whereas the reality seems the opposite. At least we can be thankful Badenoch is only LOTO.

Most people living here think it's a pretty good place. Less racist than France, more forward-looking than Germany, less mad than America. It's got nice countryside and most people get on okay. Oh there's lots wrong. But very few people think they're living in a decadent hell-hole.

I’m constantly amazed at the quantity of awful women the conservatives manage to elevate to leader of the party. I want so much to champion women in power, but I cannot believe the rubbish that comes out of this woman’s mouth. Same goes for Liz, Theresa and Maggie. Where do they find them?

On the plus side...at least Arsenal or Villa aren't gonna win it

I take it the grifting git will be leaving Reform quite soon, but with not as much fanfare as when he joined. People must start cutting these bastards out of the conversation
