Whatever the sentiment here, still using MuskX is a signal to ignore the twat. The fascists on X don't care anyway.
No need to re post ANYTHING from X....please.
Oh no. Tim has aligned himself with completely the wrong people yet again. Much more of this and Tim may have to question whether or not he is, in fact, an absolute fucking tit.
Who would have known that a man who claimed climate change was a hoax and claimed foreign countries would pay tariffs would eventually start making policy decisions rooted entirely in fantasy and falsehoods.
Montgomerie is an utter embarrassment of a journalist. His craven kowtowing to Trump, never acknowledging his criminality or corruption, then suddenly popping up with this, sums him up nicely
John Bolton who was a defence advisor in the first Trump regime said years ago that Trump would leave NATO if he was re-elected. In supporting Trump and Farage, was Montie blind and deaf? Anyone who was paying attention is not surprised at all about Trump's actions.
You've got to feel sorry for Tim Montgomerie. He's not very bright, tends to be a cult follower of ostensibly 'strong men', and has poor political judgement. He's constantly disappointed by his political choices. Perhaps he should have chosen another profession, like the church or morris dancing.
Anyone who took Trump’s statements - any of them - as anything other than self publicity and bravado was simply indulging themselves in his fantasies.
That Montgomerie was so taken in might explain why he also was taken in by Farage and his merry men.
You’re totally forgetting that Montgomerie was already an ally of far right Hungarians. His support for Reform was unsurprising. I remember him on Newsnight saying he’d probably vote for them at the last election.
This is him posturing. He hasn’t called out Farage.
Lol, as if Trump and his cronies give two f*cks what Nige and the boys think. The current US administration would turn on them in a heartbeat if they ever dared to say anything that went against their dear leader. Which is not going to happen in any case since Fartgas is obviously pro Russia.
The only positive about Trump’s stance is that it may result in a collapse of support for Reform 🤞 Once Putin has secured Trump’s complete subservience then he will side with China against the US and none of his previous allies in Europe will be at all surprised.
Stuff like this infuriates me. Because on the one hand you have to be welcoming to them because the only way to stop Trump is for other conservatives to wake up. On the other hand, all they deserve is opprobrium for supporting him in the first place
"Ah Trump's gone too far now has he? The whole insurrection, bragging about assaulting women, insulting a disabled person on stage, insulting veterans, the affair with a porn star while his wife was pregnant, being found guilty of business fraud, all within the realms of acceptability is it?"
Absolutely nothing that Trump has done since being elected has been surprising or out of character.
I’ve been surprised how fast he’s moved, but every policy was loudly announced during the campaign.
Disingenuous nonsense from Montgomerie here. Farage has been consistent in his support for Trump & his blaming Ukraine and the West for Putin’s violent warring. Trump has been signalling support for Russia throughout his campaign. Nothing has changed, it’s just happening as sane people predicted.
That's always struck me as bizarre, whilst being a terrible indictment for where we are as a race.
In years gone by, that act alone would likely have scuppered any chance of high office, yet trump seems to be impervious to scandal after scandal and get away with saying and doing anything he wants.
He hitched himself to a useless Tory government, then after a disastrous (for them) election campaign he decided to join the successors to the British league of fascists. He’s a man who makes bad life decisions, publicly
Mongomerie acknowledge's Farage's alignment with Trump, but fails to spot he has been aligned with Putin for even longer. Trump/Putin is not a new team.
It's great how they never take the next step of "Trump is acting like a idiotic maniac on Ukraine. Should I think about why I am onnthe same side of him on these issues?"
It would be interesting to know just where in the list of priorities the Moscow hotel videos feature in Trump’s thinking. It would be bloody terrible to think that the Ukrainian people are in any way paying the price for Trump’s interest in water sports.
Nice to see everything at Reform going ever so slightly ratshit.
Who'd have guessed, that aligning yourself's with Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, Orban and the Tate brothers... would one day come back and bite you in the arse.
Totally agree. In the short term, disagreeing and correcting Trump could do the UK harm, but in the long term we’d be on the right side of history, we wouldn’t be rewarding tyrants, and in 4 years time, we’d hopefully see somebody in the White House with an actual brain.
The USA has a booby trap, constructed by its Tech Giants plus the global Private Equity giants based in NY.
They represent the corporations the rest of the world can’t easily move away from.
Correction in the first sentence: I'm pretty sure the only thing Farage has invested in his relationship with Trump is a lot of other people's money - flights, hotels etc.
As a barometer of how fucked up the world has become, agreeing with Tim Montgomerie and hoping and expecting that Führage does the right thing, having also agreed with Bad Enoch on her condemnation of Trump's attack on Zelenskyy, is pretty well up there.
Oh, and Trump doesn't give a toss what Führage thinks, he is just seen as a random vandal on the fringes of UK democracy. Trump can find others in the unlikely event Führage starts to flirt with morally reasonable positions.

But then it is that or a pocket full of rubles.
Am I the delusional one?
Is Trump a tragically misunderstood humanitarian?

The Felon receiving a sentence, perhaps.

Good to know Tim’s found some policy, even though it’s piecemeal rhetoric without detail…as usual

That is pretty easy, especially, when your image just contain text.

Can’t for the life of me remember where but it stuck.
He suits Farage’s “Reform” well: a substance-free zone.

Shaping up to be a very nasty end for the BigFellers?

Kick the ambassador out of the largest private home in London.

How can you not look at Farage and see a conman coming miles off?
