I get that booing the national anthem feels liberating for Canadians, but it also feels like a missed opportunity. They hate him. We do too. So why not turn that moment into something bold? Political elites cannot persuade on every issue with every voter (and they don't have to). But I agree with @jonmladd.bsky.social here political leaders have enormous potential to shape future public opinion and frame issues. That's basically what politics is about - don't cede that power.
