i think people are missing the forest for the trees with this one. RFK Jr wants complete centralized knowledge of every American's health in order to exact control on what medications are allowed and in order to fabricate "evidence" for each and all of his nonsense theories.

The only writing software that has never ever let me down is Notepad++. I use it for everything now. You don't need page formatting and text formatting while you're composing for 99% of written works. You need a text editor with dark mode that takes half a sec to open and uses tabs.

If you don't know anything about The Silver Surfer I think a good way to get to know him is to read the exquisitely painted comic about his death: Silver Surfer Requiem. I think Esad Ribic's art is some of the most perfect in all of comics.

I think visual arts were particularly susceptible to AI because there was already a robust network of grifters assuring learners that exercises and study were boring and if they just bought their course/brushes/paints/actions, they too could be an artist.

As a historian of eugenics, I can tell you that the "taxes" thing is straight up from sterilization eugenics. Not only that, it represents an even more extreme form of early 20thC. eugenics that I study: euthanasia eugenics. They are tax burdens therefore they shouldn't exist. 1/2

My theory for why they want to get rid of the audio jack on everything is that it's extremely useful for piracy. Not everyone can hack audible to get the files for the audiobooks, but anyone can connect a tape recorder to the audio jack of their computer and hit record. Book on tape size # 1.
