I gave up on the news years ago, it was just editorialising that was making me sad and depressed. Tom Waites on the other hand ironically always brightens my day, as does your art.

I can thank The Eagle for my love of comics. My Mum read it during this era and subsequently bought the revival issues for me in the early 80’s. Didn’t strike me at the time how cool it was that a 7yr old girl was reading this stuff in the 50’s

Ha! Am I alone in thinking that Bond has had its day though? He seemed increasingly ill fitting in today’s cinema. For the record I do love Bond read all the books and everything.

I like David Lynch’s take on that story, old man with mower (and trailer 😉) in tow where everyone’s nice.

Civil war is on our list. Isn’t that more of a reality tv show? Yes you’re bang on re The Road. Nothing comes close to the horror of that book or the film. The “zombie apocalypse” umbrella is thrown up too often eh.

Yeah, I agree. I haven’t played the game so came at it cold. Bella Ramsey is great and I do like PP, it’s nothing new but their relationship kept me engaged. It was a weird sidestep but the Nick Offerman episode was my standout.

Thanks so much. Making one line and leaving it is the holy grail in art for me.

Exactly that. I’ll always go into a film with hope, mainly because I love film and I want to love every new experience. There are definitely actors/directors/ composers etc that have proven me wrong but it would take something stupendous all the way from Latveria to change my feelings on this one.

I hear that and it’s a good rule to remember but I can only speak personally, I liked Micheal Keaton before Batman, I find RDJr a really tough watch in almost everything.

True, maybe there are 6 on the other hand to even it out. I guess if we weren’t laughing we’d be crying but it really sucks eh?’

My heart sank when I heard that Robert Downey Jr was playing Doom but hopefully if he’s in it at all he’s just in the post credit bit and I can leave before then.

Same here, I’ve been fed up with superhero movies for at least 10 years. Make 60’s aesthetic FF film and put Galactus in it, Boom, I’m there! Great cast too!
