I need them to walk a mile in the shoes of my social security disability clients who wait years for justice

Many people have difficulty creating their online account at ssa.gov and then have to wait for a PIN code in the mail that can take weeks to arrive. Also? LOTS of cases fall through the cracks or simply don’t get worked on and without phone access it is nearly impossible to move the case along.

As a social security disability attorney working with the SSA for over 30 years, I can only say that the current low staffing levels at SSA are already crippling the agency’s ability to serve the American people and additional cuts of 50% will result in a complete collapse .
