Leak the report. Pass it on.

Maine officials have rehired Fire/EMS chief, Anthony Leo, who pled guilty to raping a 14 year old girl.

This election result isn't about Dem messaging. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz formed a balanced ticket filled with character, intellect, and genuine love for this country, and they delivered their vision beautifully and eloquently. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/no-the-dem...

Joe Scarborough and Mika from Morning Joe, their ratings plummeting, made a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago because they decided if you can't beat him, grovel for access and help normalize him AGAIN. STOP 👏 WATCHING👏 MORNING👏 JOE👏

Stop calling it a grift and use the real terminology, it’s corruption, embezzlement, money laundering, racketeering, take your pick.

When Nikki Haley is mocking you for being a fraud and a sellout, that’s when you know it’s really bad because she’s an expert.

Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

www.usatoday.com/story/entert... This is one of the main reasons why I am done with cable news!! They don’t tell us what we need to know because they’re too busy cozying up to Trump and sane washing him!

1. It's impossible to control whether GOP Senators rubberstamp Trump's nominees But it is possible to make more people aware of exactly who Trump is trying to install in these powerful positions Here are 13 things everyone should know about Pete Hegseth, Trump's nominee for Secretary of Defense 🧵

Do. Not. Obey. In. Advance.

You didn't miss it. This was reported for the first time in my newsletter this morning. popular.info/p/13-things-...

A particularly egregious form of accommodating, legitimizing, and normalizing power. Not particularly surprising. But a good reminder that, as a default assumption, this is what we should expect from established elites - it’s how the system tends to quickly fall in line. It’s dangerous.

Nothing is sticking. I've been doing followbacks on retweets and I'm not sure any of them went through. I'll stay on it.

Vaccines do not cause autism.

I will never understand how a billionaire, the richest man on Earth, spent millions to buy an election for ANOTHER billionaire, and told us that his policies would cause all of us non-billionaires “temporary hardship...” ...and the public didn't tell BOTH OF THEM to fuck off.

This election result isn't about Dem messaging. Their messaging during the campaign was about helping the middle class, continuing with sound economic policies, affordable healthcare and education, the rights of women, strengthening the border, unity.

Release the Gaetz report. Pass it on.

For a guy that supposedly knew nothing about Project 2025, he sure is putting a metric shit ton of them in his administration.

If you're a Veteran and you get your healthcare from the VA, please make appointments with your PCP and specialists before January 20th, and make sure to update all your vaccines and order your meds.

Trump’s insane Cabinet picks are meant to shock us. Yes, he’s handing cushy jobs to his most loyal minions, but it’s more than that. He’s prepping the nation for what’s to come. For what he’s going to do next. With each new outrage he moves the chains for what is considered “normal”.

How about the media ask Trump supporters to understand the rest of us in this country? That would be refreshing. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/hey-media-...

Would people be interested in asking about some common food safety myths/beliefs and having people in the field answer them? I’m working with other scientists across the board to fight misinformation and trying to determine the best way to go about it🧪

BREAKING: “Biden approves Ukraine’s use of long-range U.S. weapons inside Russia, reversing policy. The Biden administration will allow Kyiv limited use of ATACMS to strike enemy positions in Russia, according to senior U.S. officials.” www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

A lot of the positions people like RFK jr. take (anti-vax, anti-pasteurization etc.) get described as “controversial.” They’re not. There is no controversy. This is long-settled science. The correct term is “stupid.”

And this is how it happens…everyone treats it as normal…and pretty soon…it is. If I could speak directly to our leadership right now, face to face, the passion and intensity would be high. It all starts at the top. That sets the tone for everyone else.

When senators call for a probe into Elon Musk’s contact with Russia (pssst, two Russian oligarchs are also tied to Elon’s purchase of Twitter) he responds in Putinesque fashion and his fanboys praise Russia.

“There are five areas that authoritarians want to control when they attempt to decapitate a democratic state, authoritarian expert Timothy Snyder writes: health, law, administration, defense & intelligence... each of these arenas, the goal is to create chaos — and yes, even death.” bit.ly/3ABgZEm

President Biden tried to raise the overtime threshold, which is the point where salaried workers are entitled to earn overtime pay. It would have helped millions. A Trump appointed judge in Texas just blocked it. Please tell me you see which party is actually fighting for the average worker.

Well, this gets it exactly right, doesn’t it?

"President Biden has authorized the first use of U.S.-supplied long-range missiles by Ukraine for strikes inside Russia, U.S. officials said." The weapons are likely to be initially employed against Russian and North Korean troops in Kursk. www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/u...

Deus vult’ began as a rallying cry for the Crusades. More recently, it’s been adopted by the far right. And we’re not even supposed to wonder/ask why it’s tattooed on the arm of the next defense secretary?
