Any programmers I know are dead against everything being "online" Your toaster doesn't need a friggin app!

That looks worse than what was already done to it! There's still huge debate about whether the outside had that white quartz or not. The excavation was pretty destructive. Before it was excavated it looked like this:

This is reminding me of my dearly departed dog who would actively destroy any snowman I tried to make. I love it.

There's at least 11 of us.

One of the things I miss from my time living in Drogheda. The coffee slices were great and I've not been able to find any good ones in Dublin. Thunders just isn't the same!

This looks very Shadow Run like, I wonder is it actually from that?

I've always seen them along the Liffey for as long as I can remember and there are two I see at Broombridge train station in Dublin. I'm not sure if they've always come this far inland or not to be honest!

Ahh shit! We had that last week in Dublin. I really hope you get it back faster than the estimate. We did and I've friends in both Ballina and Drogheda who got it back quicker than the estimate too, so fingers crossed for you! The whole of the grid seems very precarious since the storm last week.

Once Iarnród Éireann move I'll completely delete it. It's the only place to get real time info on train delays.

Yeah I have heard nothing but bad things about the owner!

I've never heard of Thought Bubble before! Considering I've a load of family in Leeds I should probably go to it at some stage. Are you still doing any Irish cons? I know DCC has become a nightmare from what I read.

I'm 40 and married with one child. We're back in my family home because there was quite literally nothing to rent when my landlord informed us he was selling up. The added difficulty of changing schools and GPs were also a factor.

Years ago I saw a rather distraught woman in the Phoenix Park shouting "Paul! Paul!" I assumed she had lost her child, and I was about to offer her help when Paul came running out of the shrubs. Paul was a Yorkshire Terrier.

Glad to hear it! That was some storm.

It's very windy already in Dublin and the red warning doesn't kick in for another few hours. I wouldn't be surprised if the power goes before then.

Stay safe Casey, considering the damage storm Darragh did is still causing issues in a few places I'm really hoping that we all get through this unscathed!

I've already seen someone post shite on Facebook about this being a way for "them" to gear us up for another lockdown. They're the same gobshites who'd complain if we didn't get a warning and the weather was severe.

I think I had all his books haha. He used to be at a lot of seal releases which I'd pester my parents to bring me to. There was always a string of kids following him.

I just realised I hadn't properly drawn something in over a year. I keep thinking it was at max a few months but no. For me life just seems to be completely overwhelming.

The ADL saying it was just "an awkward moment of enthusiasm" is mad altogether.

I recently watched the Vince McMahon documentary on Netflix. I didn't realise how much Trump was involved with WWE but now that I know, this whole setup he has for his presidency makes sense. It's just a show to him.

As someone who was a Neil Gaiman fan this made me feel doubly ill. Those poor, poor women. He is an absolute monster.

I never thought of that. I'm a big supporter of renewables but not at the expense of our heritage!

I really hope that's not the case but I know it's happened before. I couldn't imagine the land there being useful for anything to be honest. It's extremely boggy, close to a cliff edge and battered by the Atlantic. Someone more knowledgeable would have a better idea though!

In 2015 I went to see Wolfgang Flür in an underground carpark in Drogheda for the local arts festival. Absolutely amazing. I don't think we'll ever see anything like that again.

I'd love to know what "lack of public support" means because if it turns out it was some online survey that nobody advertised I honestly wouldn't be surprised. Anyone I know in Ballina would know of it and encourage you to visit.

I haven't got Bun go Barr to donate to the cause but I've a very, very old copy of Buntús Cainte!

This is just depressing. It reminds me of a post last year on Twitter where a bot account posted a recipe for hot wings and hundreds of bots responded with "these chicken wings are a game changer" Dead internet has been here for awhile.

Is it on this site? If it is I should be able to go pick them up this week. I'm in Ireland so you shouldn't be hit with mad taxes. store.evansartsupplies.ie/store/search...

I've lived here since I was 10, still have an English twang to my accent. I've only had one incident where I genuinely felt unsafe. There's kids that were born here that are not white that have a far, far worse experience than I will ever have. A smart comment aimed at me is nothing in comparison.

I think this is why the only real friends I've managed to keep were other neuro diverse people. Its so refreshing to have someone who actually understands that me not wanting to go to a party is not a snub at them.

Actually this has just made me incredibly sad. This was right under your post

I honestly can't see the purpose in this. It's utterly fucking bizarre. Why would anyone think this is a good idea? Is it some weird social experiment to show how "fake" social media actually is? This is probably the next step after meticulously curated influencers but it's actually horrifying.
