My reaction when I finished the remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap. Back to being a boring old human again, snore.

Well I'd apologize for interrupting but at the same time would ask if he wanted some help taking care of that.

Eh...I'd be more preferable to playing as a Bangaa myself.

Probably fired most of their QA with the past layoffs, that or their QA is too busy with Marathon.

I haven't fully let go of x yet since there is still a few accounts that don't seem to have bluesky account yet. If they did I would have left ages ago.

I see this and all I can think of is Disco Inferno playing in the background lol

Reminds me of the 'English English' scene from Austin Powers

Well if I did do anything it would be the bare minimum since I am one of those that got supremely pissed off when Bungie took away seasonal crafting since that was my main grind in the game. So I'm just doing the bare minimum since I have no want to run the rng treadmill.

Haven't even touched it yet, don't plan to either until at least act 3 when the entire story is out.

On the other hand Myhouse.wad is definitely an experience and kudos to whoever made it. It's a masterclass in creating an experience heavily inspired by House of Leaves from what I remember of it.

All of Pillowblaster's weapon mods are great, though some bias to Guncaster for obvious reasons. But Russian Overkill and Trailblazer etc are all good examples of weapon mods that are OP but still stupidly fun to use. Was hilarious seeing someone take Russian Overkill through Okuplok.

But the crafting system isn't perfect I'll admit and they could have done it better to make rng grinding still matter but at the end of the day I would rather take what we had vs what we have right now. Better having crafting than trying to get a good roll considering the state of the game atm.

2. The perk pool these days is very diluted with dud perks which only makes the rng grind worse. 3. This is more my opinion than anything but the activities themselves are rather boring, so I'm praying for a good roll so I don't have to interact with it anymore.

To me the rng method of getting seasonal weapons fails cause of a few reasons: 1. The loot is on a time limit, disappearing after the next big expansion drops and generally only available via that season's exotic mission or occassionally via Xur. That compared to raids which are always available.

Plus they still haven't given us any word on what exactly their plans are for crafting being a 'catchup' mechanic so who knows how THAT will even work.
comment in response to post
It's not perfect yes. But I would rather have a guaranteed goal then bashing my head against the wall grinding the same activities again and again for weapons that are on a time limit. Since the loot sources for this seasons weapons will become scarce when Frontiers drops.

You had the wonderful option to not engage with it if you didn't want to. No one asked you to go with it if you are so concerned with rng drops. Ignore the red borders and continue to roll the dice for the roll you want, crafting was just there for the people who don't have hours to grind for rolls.
comment in response to post
As long as they get their precious 'engagement' time, they're fine gutting the crafting system for those who enjoyed it rather than letting people choose how they want to engage with the game. Cause not like people were forced into crafting specifically, had the chose to just farm rolls.

In my mind it's because they are more concerned catering to the Destiny streamers and YT'ers who make a living making content off their game along with all the people who choose to no-life this game. Not everyone chooses to make this game like their second job, but Bungie don't care.

Crafting for me just feels like is something that respects my time better as a player and doesn't require me to consistently roll the dice 'hoping' to get something at least halfway decent. If people wanted to play the rng slot machine, they had the option to just not interact with crafting at all.

The Menagerie worked somewhat for me since the range of 'activities' in it was pretty varied and not doing the same thing over and over. Plus there was the cheese as well and the perk pool wasn't as diluted with useless perks as we have now.
comment in response to post
So after it's gone, who knows when it will come back to farm the weapons. Plus given they haven't given any word on how their 'catchup' system will work, for all we know it could just be 'farm for it whenever its exotic mission comes around again'.
comment in response to post
D1's grind worked cause all the content from beginning to end never left the game. But with D2 seasonal content only stays around for a year and then disappears, only coming back usually via that season's exotic mission which is on a roulette with every other exotic mission to date.
comment in response to post
Plus given that compared to raids, seasonal weapons are time limited loot making them the rng weapons and not the raid ones makes no sense to me. If anything should be craftable it should be the weapons that aren't going to be around forever.
comment in response to post
Been playing since D1 Beta, I just prefer the crafting system over pure rng since while I don't mind playing I don't feel like I need to dedicate my entire existence to it. Done the rng treadmill so many times in both D1 and D2 and crafting to me just respects my time more as a player.
comment in response to post
No thanks. No crafting = Bare minimum from me. May focus on raid weapons next season though since least those are still craftable.

I think my major gripe with it is the fact that they decided to make a prequel...to the prequel being SS3. Like it's been over 24 years since SS2 came out and Mental is still at large.
comment in response to post
So another nothingburger season for me then, just wait till act 3 again and just do the bare minimum.

Hope crafting is one of the things discussed

Still waiting on word of what you plan to do about weapon crafting going forward. Even Datto is saying to bring back seasonal crafting and is one of the only things that will convince me to come back.

It's such a whiplash watching the Japanese dub where they are being sympathetic and understanding, then you get the English dub where everyone is being an asshole to Davis. I mean lighten up ffs, guy is worrying about hurting a friend, course he is going to be hesitant about attacking them.
comment in response to post
In the English dub, they are constantly being chastised about their worries about hurting Agumon. Yet in the Japanese sub, they are being assured to not worry about it and do what they need to in order to save Agumon.

Exactly, there are some artists I watch that do good art but sometimes do kinks I don't like, so having the power to filter those out is nice to have (long as they actually DO tag it properly)

Facebook at least I have my family generally there but here and on twitter it just feels like yelling at a brick wall unless I directly reply to someone's post or mention them directly. Certainly don't seem to have the clout or following to ever see much interactions with my random ramblings.
