I provide a short questionnaire; that helps the non-writer beta readers offer more focused feedback. I’m also part of a genre-specific critique group that offers full beta reads and critiques. You might need to search for new beta readers or join a writing group to get better feedback.

I couldn’t get into this one either. I put it down around fifty pages in. I also wasn’t a fan of The Final Girls Support Group, though I did finish that one. I’ve realized Hendrix isn’t for me.
