Okay last thing youtu.be/6UEQUuDw-No?...

Oh and the episode where theu are obsessed on different things was "Fish, Femmes, and Gems." The original script had Gabrielle sexually obsessing over Xena but they scrapped it because they didn't want to diminish the love story.

Try and catch: Male character: "Is Xena interested in anyone?" Gab: *laugh* "No, she likes what I do-" *smacked with fish* *clears throat* - "I think she likes what she's doing." Barely brushed away subtext.

This is my #1 too. A Day in the Life is next, I think. I always liked the more comedy-focused episodes.

I have a scholarly edition copy (includes footnotes). Well worth the buy, really.

Mariah is good but Katrina is stunning imo. It's simple but the lines, color choice, and shadow work give it breath.

You know, almost every religion and mythology places importance on helping the traveler. Further, the deity that typically values this the most is the King figure. (Zeus did, and his punishment was harsh.)

Very Game of Thrones.

I mean, he did a sieg heil, zoomed with AfD, fired thousands without cause, gave a bone to other authoritarian leaders in history... He's political poison now. Even if the disagreement is juicy, I'm not sure attempting to capitalize it is politically worth it. They need to stand on their own feet.

My dad and I have polar opposite political and social opinions, thus we do not talk often.

Oh no, my dad owns a Bentley and I've seen the Naples FL, marinas, and I am very disgusted. Interesting fact - rich Germans can only earn so much money - if they make over the cap, it's sent back to the public via their govt infrastructure.

I'm not by definition a Swiftie, but I respect her for that.

She did donate money to the California wildfire relief, and she donates money to the food bank of the city she's touring in. Complete list: www.billboard.com/lists/taylor...

When people ask me what version of the Bible I like, I say "the original"

Thanks for this! Done and done. My kids love PBS kids and as a parent and cartoon/animation enthusiast I struggle to think of a replacement. Also, Sesame Street?? Come on.

This sounds awesome, so up my alley. Thank you for sharing so I can keep an eye out!

I love stop-motion animation for this reason. You come up with a ditty in your head and then spend DAYS on tiny things for a short movie of said ditty. That's dedication. I guess the way to think of it is it's not unique to you anymore, but it's unique to the next person you show it to.

I love what fixing a few things does to something.

💙 The cool thing about getting into good habits is it inspires others to make good habits. So as hard as it sometimes is, it's always worth is as the pay-off goes much further that you think or see 🙂 (I'm working on returning to good habits myself!)

That's awesome.

I've seen your other works, with buildings being the focal point. Those are lovely, but close-ups like these are beautiful too.

I believe this is called 'freewriting' 💙 it's a nice exercise for greasing the wheels.

It's funny, I had the reverse. As someone with ADD, it's far easier to recover from distractions when drawing than with writing. But, I loved writing when I had long moments to myself for it. When a great sentence, a clever expression of a moment, finally landed, it was like gold.

Had kids, took on a second job. Self-doubt sometimes gets in the way. But I've recently returned to it as a way to occupy my mind at night. Interestingly, I don't think about doubt so much when I'm actively drawing. And my kids, the hamper on my time and money, are often my greatest inspiration.

Thank you!! I have a lot of whimsy art that I need to watermark still but this is a favorite of mine.

Tolkien and Miyazaki weren't satisfied with their works either. Still, we keep doing it. That means something positive, I think.

Hi! Congrats! I'm an artist that 100% didn't think she could draw until a few years ago when one day I just gave it a try. 🙂 I lean towards whimsy, steampunk, and celestial :) I'm building my figure drawing skill but love turning still life into surreal and magical. Look forward to more of yours!

So cute, congrats! I'm working on a kids book myself! Such a huge deal 💙

Young kids shows. It sounds odd, I know, but I watch them with my kids (both under 5) and there's something about watching shows that teaches kids the fundamentals of being a good person that makes me think of the positivity of youth and hope for the future. Plus, I love animation.
