not a european obv but salaries are MUCH lower in europe in general, even in the more expensive countries
CoL is also usually lower plus they have nice social welfare benefits

if multiple fields, i wouldn't expect it to submit except perhaps on the last required one
which gets fiddly so i probably would ask them to hit enter again to submit
