I got to go to a day long puzzle hunt that I haven’t been able to get to in a few years, with my puzzle buddy Ellen who I met at this hunt 12 1/2 years ago! It was just us on our team so we only were able to solve a few, but it was fun! And we got to go to our favorite vegan diner for lunch.

Fill with greens & sausage mixture. Top with more phyllo. Brushing butter or olive oil in between each sheet. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes until golden brown. I used dandelion greens, dock leaves, ramps, and chives from my garden. Nettles aren’t big enough yet!

Sauté sausage until brown and crispy. I make quarter sized crumbles of it. Add onions and greens and spices in olive oil. Lay out several sheets of phyllo dough with olive oil or butter brushed between eat sheet. I used a pie plate. Continued below…

I’ve been planting seeds for years, and bulbs from a friend who thins their ramp patch to help them spread. Starting to see the results! ❤️

Sorry you’re unwell. Boo that it’s hit your lungs. :( If I was closer I’d make you some of the tea I make when I get bronchitis and such. Elecampagne and other herbs. Tastes awful but helps with clearing the lungs out. Feel better!!!

Also, American Ginseng seedlings are almost ready to go out. I’ll let them get a little bigger and we have a few weeks before last frost. I got the seeds so cheap because they’d started sprouting and needed to be planted immediately.

We have a pretty big, pretty wild section. So I’m going to just make a bed, throw on some compost and manure, and let it go hog wild. They’re old seeds so I have no idea what will grow but we will find out!

It’s very fibrous so maybe! I’ve been teaching myself rope making. Great for that!

They’re so yummy. And when they’re past the eating stage, I use them for tea, dye, and fiber!

It is! And you can often find supplies at thrift stores/charity shops very inexpensively!!! Very portable too!

ICE and BP have been all over the state recently. It’s so bad. Wish this fundraiser was still active.

Pajamas, a sling with an abduction pillow, and a 15 pound cat who won’t get off me. So fancy.

Super. Once I heal up a bit more I’ll check it out. Thanks.

Oooh! Where did you take your training? I got my Extra class ham license last year and was thinking about exploring that!

So we shall see how it goes. I have a nice wooded area I think they’ll be happy in. The rest will have to wait until the feet and feet of snow goes! Though I will start some other things inside in my little indoor greenhouse!

Thank you. I’m glad my house was cozy for the recovery, but it’s been difficult! I got the seeds suuuuper cheap on Etsy from someone who sells them. They were prestratified and starting to sprout so I’ve got them in flats and will get the grow lights set up this weekend. I’ve never grown before!

It was so stressful. Dead River really has it out for me. That was tough, and of course it happened in the coldest weeks so far this winter. But I’m a tough old broad, and I made it!

Oh so sweet. Yes! Finally got heat again, the day before my rotator cuff surgery. Now just recuperating from that!!! Tired and sore but much better today!! And warm!!
comment in response to post
Yeah! I get that. Paw paws are hard to come by in Maine so I don’t have a ton of seeds. Can’t wait to start mine!

I also put rice in a pair or socks and tied the end. I put them in the microwave for about a minute or two, then put them under the covers. Crazy but it helps.
