🚨Academic scientist friends who are members-ideally leaders- of scientific professional societies, I need your help. 🚨 There is a sign-letter being prepared that will speak out against recent politicization of scientific funding and demonization of scientific researchers. 🧪🌎🦑

Foxes are incredible creatures—playful, intelligent, and vital to our ecosystems. They deserve to thrive in the wild, free from fear and cruelty. 🦊 Killing them for sport is barbaric and senseless. Let’s protect their joy and beauty.

#Education resource! Over the years I created this collection of colored skull #3Dmodels for teaching. They're available to download on MorphoSource & to view on Sketchfab. Because of recent changes to Sketchfab, I migrated them to my website: www.graysvertebrateanatomy.com/work/colorso... (1/3)

‘A place of joy’: why scientists are joining the rush to Bluesky For me, it certainly feels good to be here! @natureportfolio.bsky.social @bsky.app www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Don't know if I should be proud or disappointed. The PhD submission was a rough time, don't remember listening to that much shrek. Epic is fantastic, though 👌

The comparison is pretty stark between Japan's Mount Fuji on Oct. 30, 2023, and Nov. 9, 2024. The first flurry of snow that fell this year has since melted, leaving the famously snow-capped mountain bare once more. Captured by OLI-2 on Lansat 9 and OLI on the Landsat 8, respectively.

I’m not a mad scientist. I’m just a disappointed scientist.
