I see avoiding LLMs as an act of resistance more than lost opportunity. Like refusing to buy a brand clothes made by children. Still it's easier to not think about it, I can understand the irresistibility of letting go and just use the thing. But of all people developers understand how it is made.

The amount of stolen art that must have been used for this is impossible to grasp, it's all the frames from all ghibli films, from all other anime produced, all the fan art people have drawn. A true f*you to artists from openai.

It might be possible to use 2 to 4 sets of tiles (with one palette each) and update only one set at a time. Ideally the worst scoring tiles should be replaced first

It's a very simple algorithm but random initialization can be a bit unreliable, "k-means++" initialisation can give it a nice boost.

How sure that, say, o1 didn't collect anonymised low confidence requests like ARC's to be labeled for the next batch training ?

I guess you would not have issued a statement otherwise but are you confident there was no leaks of the semi-private eval ?

At the time I dreamed of running 3d studio but never managed to. I never heard of Imagine though!

To double the column resolution (it's a tile-based renderer)
