I realllllllllly wanna know what went down in terms of contract talks. Look at the fees Cincy and ATL just paid ... for players who ... and look I could be wrong ... are not as singularly impactful (goals + chance creation, positional versatility) in MLS and certainly not proven MLS MVP level.

Many things can be true on this Cucho deal... 1) Sucks to see him leave. MVP-caliber player/entertainer in prime. 2) 16M+ is a solid return, no doubt, but what happened w/ contract talks? 3) Pressure is now on Columbus FO to make a splash and keep this Cup window wide open.
