I think it’s a little reductive to suggest Harris didn’t convince voters because of their prejudice when she also spoke out of both sides of her mouth, unable to acknowledge that she was beholden to a donor class as well. These semantic acrobatics read as tricky political double speak

The entire blunt burns down in DLRs hand while he rants at Prince about Brian Wilson, and sting can’t get a word in tho he tries, Prince all the while sitting cross legged and tossing a clementine in one hand. Brautigan emerges from the bathroom asking “where’d the grass go david “

You’ve been valuable & great in the past! I hope you turn from bad faith doom reporting & get honest about the Democratic Party and their failure to rep the left. Your function doesn’t need to be just antithetical to Fox, but rather a new third thing - the donor class doesn’t control you too right?

That is patently not true. Mainstream press loved depicting the all American athlete Kerrigan being assaulted by white trash tonya.

It was entirely the opposite that happened. Not until 20 years later was there any revision about Kerrigan and Harding at all, and it was to rectify the wrongful villainizing of Tonya Harding

I did see the Bob Dylan movie and what it does really well is create a sense of place with very little— kind of like a black box theater. There is an intimacy to it. I think I’m only counting five or six locations in the entire movie.

Adding to the overflow of shock and response content may make you feel good for a few seconds, but it's not really helping anyone. Don't fall into the pit of despair, climb out and rise up through organizing! Share resources! Support one another! Join an organization! Make art! Do mutual aid!

It’s way too cold for this and far too little too late.
