The fact that if you ask 10 people which Linux to use, you'll get 10 different answers. And if you have a problem / want to do something there'll be different answers for those. It's really alienating for people who just want to buy a laptop, it to mostly work and be able to ask/Google about issues.

To be fair to Spurs, it's not official, it's just a private company that's taking pre-bookings for Spurs and Newcastle fan parks: 4thefans.tv I'm guessing you don't get the booking fees back if they don't get to the final.

It's true though. I've always had jobs that paid by the hour, and before I went freelance paid overtime rates (1.5x weekdays, 2x weekends). Shockingly, I've never had to do additional hours for extended periods of time, as it was always cheaper to hire another person to cover the workload.

Brilliant news for LFC, as Real Madrid will *definitely* be coming in for him instead of Trent.

Yeah, you run the risk that the people who are in the best position to get WFH/hybrid jobs elsewhere are the first to go, but you'll also lose a fair chunk of people with commitments outside work, and do employers see losing people who can't/won't work stupid hours as a bonus?

Someone else I can't remember made the point (about the big tech firms in the US, but think it applies elsewhere); it's cheaper than making people redundant. Insist they come back into the office and a % will move on voluntarily.

I'm very trigger happy with the block button, and having browsed twitter with someone else's account and seen what a shit show it was, I'd 100% agree with this.
