I’m sorry, right, but the petition thing is actually really quite funny.

True

When Brexiteers like Farage wanted Brexit, they promised us that £350 million a week would go to the NHS. Now Brexit has failed they tell us the NHS is a waste of money and piling more cash in is pointless. That we should have a private model. Look who benefits, every single time

Isn't it pleasing to know that despite the best efforts of people like Jeremy Clarkson and Nigel Farage, rich farmers who don't want to pay any tax, and the mainstream media's non stop coverage. The British people are not interested. Guess what they are interested in? The NHS

www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic... Not only did they back the Tories. They backed BREXIT. They screwed over the country for their own selfish needs. I have the smallest violin. Don't give me "they feed the country" BS. They run a business for profit. If they don't they're not viable

This @bsky.app is absolutely nailing in it in every way. In layout & functionality it already feels like home. If numbers keep growing in this phenomenal way & with advertisers fleeing X like rats leaving a sinking ship I can’t see how the other place can survive, at least not in its present state

John Prescott was a politician both behind and ahead of his time. Considered too bluff and old Labour to reach to the very top in the 90s, today his authenticity and class credentials would have been perfect to fight Farage and populism. Labour needs more like him.

I can't tell you how glad I am that we have a Labour Government in charge right now. Can you imagine still having the Tories in charge?

Yet look at how the @conservatives.bsky.social banged on about Lord Alli having access to No 10 for a few weeks. #ToryHypocrisy

Tonight there will be a Blue Supermoon at 9:35 ET The moon will appear about 8% larger than a normal full moon and 15% brighter than a normal full moon. The next one won't be until January 2037. Keep any eye out tonight!

A useful thread about the 'Farage riots'.

Conservative MP Alex Burghart, whose leader stood on a stage yesterday to defend Jeremy Clarkson and James Dyson's right to hang on to their multimillion pound inheritances, now furiously complaining about the Government handing pay rises to public sector workers.

On Monday we learnt that 1 in 3 children are living in poverty… And that deprivation has hit a record high Given their new found compassion for struggling Brits Where’s Jeremy Clarkson, Nigel Farage and Andrew Lloyd Webber to fight their corner? …anywhere?

If you're wondering why the media is on the side of the land owners who don't want to pay their taxes, it's because protesting is only bad when poor people do it x

Can you imagine if you decimated an entire industry with a promise to deliver made-up sunlit uplands with Brexit and then showing up to their protest when everything has turned to dust? Yet they lap it up

If you want to know what a performing monkey looks like, see Farage below....

Child poverty not Farmer poverty.

Tax due if parents hand on £3m house: £940k Tax due if parents hand on a £3m farm: £0 A reminder of significant tax advantage to farmers vs everyone else AFTER these changes

Hmmmm.... Why did he call it Diddly Squat? Pay your taxes, Clarkson

You have to admire Nigel Farage - who else would have the nerve to pretend to be the defender of farmers, after selling their whole industry down the river with his Brexit shitshow.

This is not a farmers tax. This is not a tractor tax. This is a tax on estates worth over £2,000,000 paying 20% on that asset (only over 2mil). There is a reason Jeremy Clarkson called his farm diddly squatt. It's the tax he intends to pay.

Those celebrating Jeremy Clarkson’s role in today’s farmers protests should remind themselves that this is a man who punched a junior member of his film crew because he couldn’t get a sandwich after midnight at his hotel Man of the people my hoop…

Why can't farmers gift their assets to their children earlier, thus avoiding IHT altogether?

Mhairi Black, "I'm not understanding why there is so much heat around this" @mhairiblack.bsky.social "Is this is a case of farmers working their knuckles down to the bone, living on the breadline, that happen to be sitting on assets" "Or is this like people like Jeremy Clarkson"

Genuine question. Do blue tick accounts in the other place get paid when bots interact with them? If not, aren't they going to be losing a serious amount of income?

It's quite funny going back to the other place now. They say we've moved to an echo chamber, but they're left shouting to themselves and bots!

Carsley insists England have the talent to win 2026 World Cup under Tuchel

Young people can't afford to buy a home, but all we hear is farmers with £3m are hard done by because they have to pay a bit of IHT. When will ordinary people learn that the rich run this country. They voted Tory because the Tories protected them and their wealth

MEN OVER 50!! 10,000 men will DIE this year of prostate cancer. IT'S COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE. Black men IN PARTICULAR have a higher risk. CHECK YOUR RISK 👇🏽 prostatecanceruk.org/risk-checker...

The farmers and their supporters are trying to play off their protests tomorrow as them needing to keep the nation fed. But in reality, many of them are just rich farmers who don't want to pay any tax at all. Many of them voted for Brexit which has left everyone worse off.

40% of UK Farmland is owned by billionaires. Now you know why they are so angry it will be taxed.

Little Britain wants to keep us as little Britain At least Keir Starmer is trying to reestablish the UK on the world stage. Yet all the media does is criticise Can you imagine if he was off on holiday to Mustique?

'Bluesky is an echo chamber' say the thousands of people paying to see their reverential posts about Elon Musk appear at the top of the replies to every single one of his Tweets

I'm struggling to understand how expanding our food choices beyond ham and mustard is waging a war

It was never about “free speech” over in the bad place.
