Day 24: Fortunes Told?
Yes, to an extent. As a divination wizard, Arthur has strong opinions on whether telling individual fortunes works and would doubt the readings from any non-titled wizard. Ostara would, if only to mess with Arthur.

Day 23: MC Pet Peeves
Arthur: Students using clairvoyance to skip divination lectures.
Ostara: When people are particular about using the right word when it does not matter.
Lee: Bickering
Rejnar: People who wait in a long line only to be undecided when they reach the counter.

Day 12: Would your character embrace their fate or fight it?
Neither! She will look for loopholes to technically fulfill it, then bounce.

Day 11: MC'S Plans
The rest of these have been about Ostara, so why not this one? The girl wants a GD break and an end to her servitude.

Day 10: Superstitions
These depend on the culture, and it depends on whether you count religions or if you consider it superstitious; it's known the gods meddle in my WIPs. The most notable is that Ostara pays attention to which constellations are visible to determine risks while traveling.

I'd bet that you're right. They don't even mention ASOIAF with its 6(?) major religions and the ambiguity if the gods do anything. I was always drawn to fantasy because it allowed exploration of religion without directly criticizing specific dogma. This take is just wild to me.

So, does the His Dark Materials series not count anywhere on their list? I wasn't allowed to read it as a child because of how directly it borrowed from and criticized the Catholic Church. I vaguely remember protests about how they "killed god."

Given how long the series is, do you recommend a particular starting place?

Thank you!! You seriously made my month! I am so happy you enjoyed it! Barring any additional issues with the printer, physical copies should be available March 21st.
