It also is out of date commentary on pre-rlhf LMs. We literally do elicit feedback from people for model outputs and incorporate that feedback explicitly into model training.

In industry I think it genuinely sets people apart when their writing (e.g design docs) is clear, coherent, and has clearly been “processed” by the OP. It’s also a skill that I think gets developed for CS students in grad school. It’s painfully obvious when docs are an afterthought or llm processed

Rivera has conflicted with the city's planning office in the past, but the real reason for the delay is that Harrell's office was not on top of this process and made a lot of changes to the more progressive, pro-housing plan the office originally proposed, which included specific equity actions.
