McConnell has clearly & proudly used this same glib dismissal before. And you know what? He's been fucking right every time! The American people--like our Dem reps--do NOT fight. We wait for someone to tell us how & where to do it. There is no someone. No one. There's just us and we suck at this.

Does he have any recourse here? Is there any way he can sue the government - or even individuals within the government - for defamation, libel and more???

Of course you don't.

Nowhere did I say we can't or shouldn't acknowledge problems abroad. I said when we, as Americans with our raging, decades-long war-on-women, do that, we come off as hypocrites to those listening - which clearly you are not.

What I meant is not that Americans (and everyone) shouldn't speak up, but that when Americans do speak up against atrocities against women in other countries, our argument falls flat because atrocities against women are being carried out HERE in our own country. It's hypocrisy.

You're an idiot. Blocked.

You're 100% right, but I think they mean the USA doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to pointing out how horribly women are treated in OTHER countries considering how horribly women are treated here. IWO - hypocrisy.

I'm a person who does their research & ultimately supports those worthy of support for a variety of reasons--not because their gender matches mine, or because it's the 'in' thing to do, or because of mob rule, or because of a what-can-I-get-for-free mindset. Mine, unlike yours, is not a narrow mind.

You know what's heartbreaking? Even if history books discuss this period factually, the lessons will not be learned and the nightmare will repeat. Just like they're repeating now.

I should say he APPEARS to have won. We'll know for certain as the RCV adjustments are made. I have great hope Mamdani will lose in the end, but if he doesn't, *I* will support the winner. Somehow I doubt Cuomo haters will do the same.

No. She isn't. She's pointing out the hypocrisy of people screaming about Iran while applauding barbaric acts against women in this country.

The leaders in this country are BARBARIANS. Women who support them are brain dead

I disagree. I think he 'worked' with Lander as a way to boost himself & it had the desired result. That's not a better person, that's a politician & it leaves in doubt any 'good' intentions. HOWEVER. He won. So, my hope is he'll surround himself w/people who actually know how to do the job for NYC.

A “win”?! No. Maybe a slight delay. The fascist oligarchy does not play by our rules.

Who are you to ask me anything? And considering you've commented on multiple posts of mine, clearly sniffing around my account, it is obviously YOU who should grow the fuck up. And I'm not 'coping'. I'm fighting.
FWIW - Words matter.
You don't.

I hate liars, that's very clear. I also hate willfully ignorant people, like those who call Johnny Depp and Andrew Cuomo abusing dirtbags. Oh. Did you do that, too? Ha. Imagine.

Hmm. Oddly, I don't know any abusers who were mayors let alone shitty mayor. And no. *I* didn't lose. New York City LOST. But you can go on dreaming and being obnoxious.

This is a fact. He has no experience & would therefore need others--WITH experience--to do his thinking & his job. Bottom line, it's asinine to gleefully vote for someone as mayor of NYC who is incapable of performing w/o the help of people with actual experience because that candidate has NONE.

What a conundrum for the felon's flock of moronic sheep. Should they hate their Dear Leader's BFF, Putin, because he's now friends with Iran, who is the felon's enemy? Should they love Iran because Dear Leader's BFF loves them? What's a sheep to do???

I wouldn't call someone a rapist if that person hasn't been convicted of rape.

And now it's all over social media - people I once liked and respected are spreading this insanity. How is it that these people run so fast and so far with clear lies while countering actual facts with rage, whataboutisms and ad hominems??? HOW do we fight this? How do we survive it?

I listen to everyone - men, women and children. Some I believe, and some I don't. Equally. In this case, the person I believe is the man. As such, I support Andrew Cuomo for Mayor of NYC.
