Keep in mind, too, that this is the generation of school children whose early education was already interrupted by COVID shutdowns. Teachers and parents are still trying to assess gaps and help them recover. Anything thrown in our way to make that harder is just evil.

Start with the question: “what’s the one thing in your life you care about most?” No matter what the answer is, there is a DOGE related downside to describe. Kids? Grandma? Parks? Jobs? Health? National Security? Crime Prevention? Literally anything - and unfortunately, the pitch can write itself.

Yes- two things can be true at the same time; we need action now but it's only going to be sustainable if most Americans are on board... and that's only going to happen if they hear it on the news sources they believe.

I have been working for 20+ years in affordable multifamily housing management… in Virginia… and *I* am telling you this is NOT the highest priority right now. It’s not even in the top 10. Focus, please!
