Now that the Oscars are done and dusted, can we move on from the whole Emilia Perez car crash? Can we try and find a film which tells an authentic story, perhaps with some authentic trans actors who aren't racists? One which doesn't offend an entire country would help. For reference, I'm available.🙂

The Harry Potter saga is now irretrievably tainted. Any well-known actor taking a role in the cashgrab TV reboot will inevitably suffer a backlash. I can see the temptation however, to hitch yourself onto a 10 year gravy train. I'm sure the financial rewards will be huge. 🙄

It's a world where "Will & Harper" (reality) gets no Oscar noms, and Emilia Perez (fiction) gets 13. Basically trans people are just entertainment, especially if they're a Mexican cartel boss laden with bury-your-gays tropes. We should be grateful that a trans actress was employed I suppose.
