I was named after an uncle and grandpa. They thought I had a peen in utero. 75% of my extended family of like 95 people have at least one of these: Daniel, Ray, Steven, Lee, Samuel, Chris/Christine/Christina. We have Lisa and Elise spread around, too. Booooring and I don't even LIKE my uncle.

Seriously. I grew up absolutely hating my name and I didn't understand until I was like 40 that I could change it. I haven't, though. I have suffered a lot of cognitive decline with Long Covid and I'm actually afraid I wouldn't remember my new name is real now. 😞
