In an actual shooting war, additional squadrons would be ferried over here within days, including AWACS, tanker assets, and long-range strike aircraft to take out enemy high-value assets.
Individual European air forces just do not compare.

The U.S. Air Force would be a massive force multiplier, though, as would U.S. reconnaissance satellite assets.
It's not that Europe is defenseless without the U.S., but save for a few countries like France and Poland, we're not exactly in great shape either.
