As the name suggests, I like trains. I also love theme parks, all things transport, comedy (especially sitcoms) and Queen. I am a volunteer at the Epping Ongar Railway. All opinions are my own. He/him.

Class 321s are probably my favourite EMU. I definitely miss them a lot. Such a shame they are gone. I also really miss the D Stock on the District Line but those are technically still in service in heavily refurbished form with other operators.

Exactly. I hope they add a legacy pack where it has all the themes from the old game. There’s only so much you can do with the current themes and it’s almost impossible to make a good dark ride.

I think we’ve got her until just after the spring diesel gala.

It’s a very nice place. Although I would say that being a volunteer there. Definitely not biased! 😂

Apparently work has started on one of the “ugly” saddle tanks so that is something.

We just about have enough locos. Technically we’ve got a spare at the moment in the form of 50021 “Rodney” but that hasn’t run at all since October. Although we are lacking a working DMU right now (hopefully the thumper will be back soon).

The EOR would normally run in Feb half term but there’s a lot of bits of track that need maintenance. Most other heritage railways don’t run this time of year either to be fair.

Absolutely. I make sure to have several rides on it every time I visit. The same goes for Stealth.

Rita is probably one of the most under appreciated in my opinion. It always gets hated on but I don’t get why. It has a great launch and great airtime. Now there’s less and less hydraulic launch coasters out there we should appreciate the ones we still have more.

It is a long term goal to get into Epping. Hopefully it will happen eventually.

The boundary between LUL and EOR is about 300 yards beyond the platform at Epping. The track is still physically connected so technically the line still ends in Ongar.

Two of my favourite locos together double heading, I wish I could’ve been there. Lovely photo.

An honourable mention to Sik for being surprisingly good and Big Dipper for the insane ejector airtime on the first drop and first airtime hill.
