No mention of concentration, how it compares with background or how far it needs to disperse to reach that background. The elephant in the room was the chemical, physical and biological waste washed into the sea as the tsunami swept 8 km inland and covered 560 sq km. Nobody ever talks about that.

Does that mean the Brits who have settled (uninvited) all over the world for the last 250 years will finally adapt to the indigenous languages and cultures? Or are we ok because we are white?

That’s why you should use a median and not an average. A median gives you a typical wage.

You’ve named three of mine. I lived in Sheffield during the miner’s strike and devastation of the steel industry. So add Thatch to the list. But I can think of a few more in my new place of domicile but I have to be careful of being a whinging pom

Being born around the corner from Withins - the supposed inspiration of Wuthering Heights, I should prefer that book. But it was too grim. Even grimmer than a mad wife burning to death in an attic while the swain of the novel has his eyes burnt out. And that dear folks, was a happy ending.

Perhaps Labour could stop supporting the sale of weapons to genocidal players in the Middle East. That will reduce the number of asylum seekers.

The USA was never superintending global liberal order. That is a propaganda description for superintending other countries’ resources. Its meddling in the Middle East and the chaos that we have now is testament to that. I suggest you watch Team America for a clearer perspective.

You have fallen victim to one of the main drivers for Trump’s successful election; the belief that the USA was the best place in the world to live. It was never the best. US exceptionalism was always a belief based on propaganda and not reality.

It’s not the insurance companies to blame, they are profit driven entities. It’s in their blood. It’s your lack of public healthcare that means there is no alternative. Your government is to blame.
