Hey Rob. Can we have the updated spread market for final table in PL please ?

Gw29 2021 was special.

How do you mentally cope with that?

Too much. I think they will cook us in the finale too.

Isak Will do it alone. No need for the other 10.

If Liverpool avoid PSG in the next round, put 10$ on Liverpool double.

I cannot accept Wood slander.

To be fair on this one, we did have Matip and Thiago playing without injuries. That’s insane luck and both can make a team scale to dizzying heights. I think Matip won player of the month in Feb.

Two things here: I don’t think there is any other coach will better Arteta. But he needs to admit defeat for some profiles and choices and move on. Striker, left wing, a left or right back ?

From my head 4. Agree it is not 3 months as Saka right now, but losing both at the same time is hard.

And 18/19 Afcon was in summer.

21/22 is and AFCON season were both mane and Salah didn’t return before the final. We did 2 cups, 18-1-0 and CL final losing to Madrid juju.

Yeah, I know it is really really hard. I am no football insider, but instead of paying the wages for Sterling, shouldn’t you just all in for someone like Gordon or something ? I genuinely think you are two three upgrades from dominating this league.
comment in response to
post
You bought Timber, Havertz and Trossard. Where those upgrades on Zinchenko, Jesus and Martinelli?
comment in response to

Yes this Liverpool shouldn’t win the title. This should be Arsenal.
If Arsenal kept 22/23 style and just made signing to improve in LB, CF and probably R winger, you would have been the team.

Saka played through injury. Odegaard do have niggles here and there.
As for Salah, yes of course. But that’s an issue, that’s why Nunez is failure. In Liverpool prime seasons, we dealt with losing Salah and Mane to Afcon while producing 90+ and CL final.

Both of those records are not enough in the Man City era though. You need 90+ when City are that good.
comment in response to
post
But that’s my very subjective opinion. Teams like this Arsenal or Chelsea 21/22 don’t win titles, because they tilt too much towards defensive control. One cold streak like the one Arsenal have right now, and you are done.
comment in response to
post
Arsenal 22/23 were a 90+ that just needed some depth. Arteta changed the way of play instead of adding depth.
Of course Martinelli falling off a cliff doesn’t help, nor does Jesus/ode/Saka being injury prone. But that’s depth for me, not putting more CBs as FBs.

Don’t have an issue with the players but there profile. His playing style demands that: he wants more control and Arsenal board gave him that.
I don’t you needed more control, but you needed more offensive power.
comment in response to
post
I think he did have some two dodgy transfers lately. But there is an over reaction because city are shite and your fanbase is special.

That was 2020?
comment in response to

You are far away from his value. He can swing a title race, and that’s alone is worth more than the 20. 50 and they can have a zoom cal.

We need: crazy luck with injuries, easy draw in the ucl until the semis, close the league in early April.

Exactly. Doesn’t dribble, doesn’t defend. Allen Iverson would have 6 rings if that warriors team.

@dilksybab.bsky.social told me that’s a sign of a good manager.
comment in response to

Exactly. I would add that they can do it each in a very different way, which species it up as no method works for all. Clearly very dense league.

I mean brev, 2024 is the worst in 2024.

Same In Paris. And it was worse in November. It is dark a noon ffs. Gonna mentally break down I feel it.

Maybe, but the league would have been over today tbh. I hope this means Robertson never plays again.

I did zero doubt he will slot it in for the second. And why did Diaz not shot ffs?
