I wonder this a lot myself and MY guess, is that they see it as "What my partner does has nothing to do with me! I support you so that's all that matters!" Forgetting that their "Ally ship" is immediately neutralized by them having a partner ACTIVELY against the people they call friends.

Did you fail middle school?
Polio, The flu, Tuberculosis, and Covid, all these illnesses KILLED people before vaccinations for them existed. Just because you refuse to accept facts and reason, does not make it anyone else's problem.
