Do you really think trump will do business with Zelensky After all he said to about him being a dictator, and he was the cause of the Ukraine russian war?

What ever happened to letting states make their own decisions?

Go after everyone under trump. This is the strategy I was saying. Make their lives a miserable like he's doing for everyone

They can only make the arrest warrant, our government wouldn't turn over an "elected" official willingly. Even if it did that leaves us with the presidential succession act of 1947. Trump only has loyalist made up of his cabinet.

So will it take world war 3 to stop Republicans?

This is the power of propaganda. We know from history many nations fell victim to it.

This is true.

Americans are largely oblivious/naive, but that's by design. How ever you look at our politics, it's success is based on psychology. Willing compliance through propaganda. Seeing/hearing is believing and trump got millions to believe, and doubt on both sides.

That's exactly my point. Why arent there fail safes? Espionage isnt new to us. we know about manipulation of other countries politics. All these intelligence agencies w/billion dollar budgets and we allow russia to manipulate our politics via social media? I guess I give our govt too much credit

It's always been a power struggle. It was clear when the democratic party was first created. A civil war ensued and of course the country was never on the same page again. I think it's a fools dream to think a democracy could ever work with such drastically different perspectives of 2 parties.

So in this way he is the leader, he has authority, it's just not unchecked authority. Our political system seems to have difficulty with this concept. America always wants to appear strong, but strength is in numbers, not in one solitary person.

The president like the CEO of a company is essentially the figure head. We know that CEOs dont make one sided decisions. Board members are consulted, share holders are made aware. He/she is controls the livelihoods of many, therefore the many need to be apart of the decisions. This is a democracy

To me trump is exposing the facade of american democracy. As its referred to sometimes as an experiment. This experiment has some clear experimental errors that should have been corrected long before trump showed up.

I guess so. But to me it seems more and more that America's governmental structure is built on the honor system, rather than a true balance of power structure. No president should be able to ignore federal judge's orders without consequences. Everyone holds each other accountable.

He's compromised. Remove him now

Agreed. Also secondary concerns are mailing in your ballots. The ability to control voting, and implementing stricter voting laws is on his agenda. He wants another term, essentially writing that into law and manipulating elections like his buddy putin does.

Elon has always talked like what a video on YouTube on 3G phone service sounds like. People would say jts because his brain is moving fast trying to figure out the right words to say.....you because he so brilliant. I think he got hit in the head as a child honestly

Well aware. Republicans want that bill past per their Führer

Honestly the president should have to go through the legislative and judicial branch to make decisions. No executive orders. Unless there is a terrorist attack happening on our soil, the president should always have to consult both branches.

A rouge president should be able to be clamped down on fairly quickly, and quietly to keep from publicly showing the president has unchecked power, and our last line of defense is the moral compass of federal judges, and supreme court justices.

Project 2025 was available to read, study and create blockades before trump was sworn in. He told us what his agenda was. All I heard from the media was assumptions of how to respond if this or that happened, or what can be done. Our government should have contingencies for their contingencies
comment in response to post
Dems are slow to react. Honestly they warned us about what seems to be project 2025 initiatives but havent moved to block or get ahead of any of them. Legislation should have already been ready on standby for when repubs made a move. Force trump and doge to justify their actions beforehand.

Cant touch the president, go after the people under him. Find them in contempt and force them to comply. Trump does not supersede a judge in these matters, just like he cant just order the military to go to war. EOs can be reversed. Checks and balances

People would have you belive he's a genius. Musk is just someone that learned early on that money allows you to manipulate those around you. Makes sense he found a way to link up with trump
