They start write the code from Civ 7 without bugs. Because bugs are waste, we can just skip them

4/4 So I translated from Russian into English the updated Hypothesis Map cheat sheets (suddenly, I guess, for both audiences).
Translated cheatsheet: miro.com/app/board/uX...
Official: hypothesismapping.com

3/4 At the same time, I started to study in detail what Alexander Byndy writes about his own method of Hypothesis Mapping, where the answer to the question of why we will do it is also in a special place. I thought it would be interesting to share it.

2/4 Something that doesn't include an explanation of what we're going to do, how we're going to do it, and why we're doing it is not strategy. Opposed to the faceless amorphous missions and strategies I'd seen before it was really interesting.

I also often feel like this. I started to make training I'm fine with silence from my side. Or just honest sharing, sorry I just I feel I can't support the talk because I can't catch it or tired.

I see important here it should be shared efforts of product, design and devs to bring not even UX, at least some quality to the products. The issue we are usually incompetent exactly enough to be unable to proof this will affect revenue more than feature factoring

Or make them appear to the world also :)

Maybe a couple of existential questions: value was object or value will be object. What are value needs and desires?

Omg, not suck! :) It was a great talk!

I'm really grateful for the opportunity! I understand it might be not such interesting in public trainings, but maybe it could be a space to experiment on topics or formats. For me eg many workshops are unavailable because they are far beyond my budget and I need to prove much to get them accepted

@kenny.weave-it.org, thank you for today's workshop! It was fun and nice to get to know the user needs mapping with team topologies approach to structurize architecture/organization knowledge.

I hope we choose values explicitly or implicitly personally and in small groups and in bigger groups. And even trying best we can hurt others. Thank you for the question, the more I'm thinking the less I prefer this strategy in this wording for me

It's unethical when it contradicts chosen values. And maybe a boring answer to understand was it valid or idiotic it’s to ground to current context how much fast or sustainable fast or break which things. What are time, money, and risk costs in these scenarios

Already put them in CV! Thank you!

The regularity of status alignment meetings means an absence of irregularity: why should I report what I did, why didn't I already push the blockers before. Hope teams will find more collaborative way without standups.
I really love the second. I hope it can be extended also to make collab. work

And if you take more many vacation days, hmm. We will consider your impact in our half-year performance reviews:)

It looks like it is the only cycle time from idea/learning from the customer to the next learning from customers, which makes perfect sense. We can't measure it well, so we are trying to optimize other cycle times inside it, like development cycle time.

Hello Younes, thank you for the talk! Unfortunately, I missed part of it, and it wasn't very clear at the end of the hall. Is it okay for you to share the presentation?

Yep, sometimes I’m sad about this, too. Sometimes, we can do something about it and change from the bottom, but sometimes, we cannot. It’s fine. I can still think about my messages and communication. How far have I advanced in promoting rationality and knowledge

Agree. Good coaches will work with team, the great ones will try to bridge the trust with leadership to gain not only team-system better result, but more super-system ones. But the most of the time we are not in the point of having coaches, and ideas from bottom are not good enough

I think the disciplined way of AI usage could be helpful not as a code writer but as a suggester of new patterns in learning new languages or frameworks. Books and good pair colleagues are still generally better

This is interesting. I followed mostly @davefarley77.bsky.social definition “Engineering is the application of an empirical, scientific approach to finding efficient, economic solutions to practical problems”. But now it applies to marketing engineering too, if we go empirical way:)

We will continue working in the feature factory mode. Because if we don’t know, let's at least keep people busy

I would say watch what they do, keeping in mind that it’s a big corporation, and the left hand still might not do what the head thinks.
So they say they will not hire, and it is not about job positions:) Poor applicants in the interview process
