I think an easy fix would be to make food pretty rare and make hunger go down much slower. But I also like what valheim does where different foods boost your health and stats until your hunger is depleted

I remember one game I loved on the PS2 had a bunch of cheats but I didn't know until I finished it the first time and it said after the credits "Cheats Unlocked!". That's one way to bolster replayability
